Students entering the final years of their schooling at AAIS have a choice between two of the world-class school finishing programmes: the Cambridge AS/A Levels and the IB Diploma.

Cambridge AS/A Levels (Grades 11 & 12)

A deeper understanding and application of content to pave a successful career path is best achieved through this dynamic programme. The Cambridge A level is a two year programme while the AS level is a one year programme. The subjects chosen at the AS level is extended to a Cambridge International A Level

The AS/A level programme is designed to :

  • Develop In-depth knowledge
  • Apply the knowledge acquired
  • Higher cognition development

At AAIS, a wide range of subjects are offered at the AS and A levels from the Sciences, Humanities and Languages.

We are open to interactive subjects are offered CIE provided a minimum number of students opt for it.

IB Diploma Programme (IB DP) Grade 11 & 12:

A path to reckon post a Grade 10 qualification (State board/ICSE/CBSE/IGCSE/MYP) is the IB Diploma Programme (IB#), as an equivalent for a high school finishing programme. This is designed for students aged 16 to 19 and is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education that prepares students for success at university and beyond. IB DP has gained recognition and respect from the world’s leading universities and is fast gaining recognition in India.

Choice of any 1 subject from each Group

Students opting for courses not offered in the school will be registered on Pamoja Education.

In addition to a choice of a subject from each of the groups, the student has to complete the three core components

1. Theory of Knowledge or TOK : a critical thinking component where the students choose a knowledge question and critically think on the nature of knowledge and how they know their claim. A

2. Extended Essay or EE is an independent and self initiated research topic chosen by the student. He/She is mentored by a supervisor to investigate a topic of interest to analyse, synthesize and communicate their findings.

3. Creativity, Action, Service or CAS is the pursuit of purposeful and real activities by students to not just accomplish their set goals but also reflect on the entire process of achieving it.

The Diploma Programme prepares students for effective participation in a rapidly evolving and increasingly global society .
